People who know I support Dumbarton, but who know little about the Sons, are often a bit surprised to discover that we were briefly in the Scottish Premier League, in season 1984-5. I saw the last SPL match at Boghead, a 2-0 defeat to Dundee United. This YouTube footage is of an earlier match against Aberdeen.
