How could I go nearly a month without pointing out that the Sonstrust, the Dumbarton supporters' hub, has a splendid new Wordpress blog online? Especially as they were kind enough to link here. The Sons Supporters Society Limited formally came into being on 22 May 2003 when registration as an Industrial and Provident Society was finally rubber stamped by the Financial Services Authority. In reality the Trust, Scotland's first, has been in existence for three years and continues to grow steadily. I am proud to be member number 125. Incidentally, the members' business debate in the Scottish Parliament on Wednesday 20 February 2008 saw cross-party support of the work of supporters' Trusts and Supporters Direct in Scotland.
