Exciting news filters through from the redoubtable
Sonsteam Yahoo! group that former
Dumbarton winger
James Allan, swapped for
Robert Dunn and not much noticed or appreciated by the DFC faithful, has resurfaced as the lead singer for "Scotland's hottest new rock band -
Glasvegas" (
Scottish Sun) - also dubbed "the sound of 2008" (by the slightly more credible BBC website). They will not, it seems, be supporting
Harmonica Lewinsky at the Rock on 1 March 2008 - a worthy
benefit for the
Children's Therapy Centre Scotland. Or the brilliantly and elegantly named
Funking Barstewards, who have regrouped, apparently.
